This indenture made this ninth day of December one thousand seven hundred and ninety seven between Thomas Ogletree of the county of Wilkes and state of Georgia of the one part and Micajah Little of the county and state aforesaid of the other part, Witnesseth that the Thomas Ogletree for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred dollars to him in hand paid by the said Micajah Little the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened enfeeoffd conveyed and confirmed and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff convey  and confirm unto him the said Micajah Little his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Wilkes and state aforesaid containing one hundred and forty five acres on the waters of little  river being a part of a tract granted unto said Thomas Ogletree beginning at a red oak corner Henry Slaters line thence S 35 W sixteen chains 10 links to the post oak thence S 33 chains to the post oak thence N 80 E 49 chains to a water oak thence North 3 E 15 chains to a post oak Thence N 18 W 5 chains to the post oak. Thence to the beginning together with all rights and appurtainances belonging there unto. To have and to hold the said tract of land and every thereof unto him the said Micajah Little his heirs and assigns forever and the said Thomas Ogletree for himself and assigns doth convey and confirm unto the said Micajah Little his heirs and assigns forever the premises against himself the said Thomas Ogletree his heirs and assigns and against all and all manner of person or persons whatsoever lawfully claiming the same and will forever warrant and defend the same unto him the said Micajah Little and his heirs forever. In witness where of the said Thomas Ogletree hath hereunto set his hand and seal the day and year first written
